Chief Apostle Charles E. Marsh, Jr.

 

Chief Apostle Marsh, a native of Rennert, NC, is the son of Charles E. & Edith Marsh, Sr. His spiritual journey began at the age of 6 where he was saved at St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church in Rennert. At the age of 9, he was sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost and Fire and was called into the ministry. He preached his first sermon on November 20, 1994 at New Hope Freewill Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Elder Earl S. Quick, Jr. He worked diligently there until 1997.

 

Under the leadership of Bishop Gene Chavis, Chief Apostle Marsh joined the Full Gospel Fellowship Holiness Association and became a member of the Independent Full Gospel Holiness Church where he served as a pastor, evangelist, and district elder from 1997 until 2006.

 

In 2007, Chief Apostle Marsh joined in with the Bible Church of God, Inc. under the leadership of Overseer C.C. McNeil, Bishop Harry Lee, Bishop G.W. Winston, Jr., Bishop Daniel Williams, and Bishop Ray Mott. Within the Bible Church of God, Inc., he was ordained as an elder. He later joined Smith Chapel Bible Church of God in Lumberton, North Carolina where he taught bible study on Tuesday nights and served as the Vacation Bible School teacher for the adult class.

 

In December 2007, he served as Interim Minister of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Lisbon community of Clarkton, North Carolina for 11 months before accepting the call to pastor in June 2009.

During his time at this church, the Lord spoke to Chief Apostle Marsh and gave him the vision for Inner Circle Holiness Church. He then resigned from New Hope and opened the doors of Inner Circle in the living room of Mother Novella Murphy. 

 

Chief Apostle Marsh’s life and spiritual experiences have cultivated a level of wisdom that surpasses his youth. Chief Apostle Marsh has committed his life to a dynamic ministry, which reflects his dedication to spiritually feeding and guiding the people of God.

Chief Apostle Marsh is known for the true standard of holiness that he was taught by the saints of old. God has anointed him as an Apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ and he walks worthy of the vocation of his calling. He has no limits on God, has suffered for the name of Christ, and stands for true holiness.
